Patriot Rider Ministries was born from a simple but powerful mission — to ride in faith, honor those who serve, and build a place of healing for our nation’s heroes. Our founder, Kevin Whitaker, a lifelong rider and passionate follower of Christ, created this ministry to bring together the motorcyclist community in support of first responders who’ve sacrificed so much.

A Personal Calling

The vision for Patriot Rider Ministries began long before disaster struck. Kevin’s heart had already been drawn to the selfless service of first responders — those who run toward danger while others run away. As a man of faith and a veteran rider, he felt called to serve those who serve, and to create a place of peace and restoration for them and their families.

That mission was fueled even more deeply in 2022, during the Hermit’s Peak and Calf Canyon Fire — the largest wildfire in New Mexico’s history. Kevin and his family were among the many residents in San Miguel County impacted by the fire. Though they did not suffer property loss, the fire burned to the edge of their mountain cabin. It was only through the heroic efforts of firefighters — including the La Placitas Volunteer Fire Department — that their home, and so many others, were saved.

The experience left a permanent mark. Kevin witnessed firsthand the courage, exhaustion, and sacrifice of those on the front lines. What was once a calling became a conviction — to stand in the gap for those who stand in the fire.

What We Do:

  • Ride with Purpose: Every mile we ride is part of a larger mission — to raise awareness and support for Freedom Ranch.

  • Build Community: Through music, ministry, and outreach, we connect riders and supporters with a shared heart for service and restoration.

  • Support First Responders: We’re actively raising funds and building partnerships to develop Freedom Ranch, a place of peace and healing for first responders and their families.

This ministry is more than a movement — it’s a mission. And we invite you to ride with us.
